Learning Touch Rugby !

For the past 3 weeks we have been doing touch training with Trevor. Straight after morning tea we had touch training with our coach for the last time. For the first 2 weeks he taught us how to plant, dummy half, pass, scoop and  tap.

On the last week (today) we got to play each other. Trevor told the girls to get to one side and the boys to get to the other. We then had to divide into 4 groups 2 teams of boys and 2 teams of girls. First the boys were up. They went on the field and played each other while us girls did some passing warm ups. It was then our turn so we went on the field. In the end we won .....woo!!

Touch training taught me so much that I can now do when we play touch at lunchtime for sports. I can’t for next time we practice our touch skills.

  1. Talofa lava Sophie Isabella, I like your post about the last three weeks playing touch rugby. It was really fun playing with you. I am so happy that our team won. What was your favourite bit from the last three weeks?
